DESCRIPTION

Masteron Propionate (Drostanolone Propionate) 100 mg is an injectable anabolic steroid derived from dihydrotestosterone (DHT). It is formulated as an oil-based solution for intramuscular injection. Masteron is known for its strong androgenic effects with moderate anabolic properties, and it has anti-estrogenic activity, making it popular in bodybuilding for enhancing muscle hardness and reducing water retention, especially during cutting phases.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

INDICATIONS

Masteron Propionate 100 mg is indicated for:

Breast cancer treatment (in females): As adjunct therapy in advanced cases where other treatments have failed, due to its anti-estrogenic effects.

Performance enhancement: Used by athletes and bodybuilders to enhance muscle hardness, definition, and strength, especially during cutting phases to reduce body fat and water retention.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Dosage:

• Medical Use (Breast Cancer): 100 mg administered 3 times per week, as directed by the healthcare provider.
• Anabolic/Bodybuilding Use: Common doses range from 300 mg to 600 mg per week, typically administered every other day. Dosage may vary depending on goals, experience, and tolerance.

   

Administration:

• Administer via deep intramuscular injection. Injection sites should be rotated regularly to avoid irritation. Inject the oily solution slowly to minimize discomfort.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Hypersensitivity to drostanolone or any component of the formulation.
• Pregnancy and lactation (Pregnancy Category X).
• Active breast cancer in males or suspected prostate cancer.
• Severe cardiovascular, hepatic, or renal disease.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

2. Insulin and Oral Antidiabetics: Drostanolone can affect glucose metabolism and may require adjustments to insulin or antidiabetic medication dosages.

3. Corticosteroids: Concurrent use with corticosteroids may increase the risk of fluid retention and electrolyte imbalances.

USE IN SPECIFIC POPULATIONS

Pregnancy and Lactation: Masteron Propionate is contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women due to its potential teratogenic effects (Pregnancy Category X).

Pediatric Use: Use in children and adolescents is not recommended due to the risk of affecting normal growth and development.

Geriatric Use: Older individuals may be more susceptible to adverse effects, particularly on the cardiovascular system. Use with caution in elderly patients.

OVERDOSAGE

There is no specific antidote for drostanolone overdose. In the event of an overdose, provide supportive care and symptomatic treatment. Monitor liver and cardiovascular function closely.
