What is Trenbolone Enanthate and what does it do?

Trenbolone Enanthate is an underground market specific drug. In other words, you won't see it with the Organon or STERIS tag on it. It was produced a few years ago by a leading underground lab as a cheaper alternative to Parabolan. When I first got my hands on it I sent it to a large lab to have it tested for purity and they said it was probably about 90% pure, but with no test samples, I couldn't be completely sure. Compare it. The really interesting thing here, from a philosophical point of view, is that instead of actually producing clones of the steroids available in the drugstore, subway has started to produce its own unique products. Except for the ester that only affects blood plasma levels of a steroid, its peak concentration and active life, this drug is the same as Parabolan and Trenbolone Acetate - different only in that it is active in the body for a longer period of time. For this reason, injections with this compound are typically given once or twice a week.

Trenbolone is derived from 19-nor Testosterone but with three additional bonds- it cannot aromatize into estrogen (it also converts to a Dihydro form) and does not undergo 5a reduction. Speaking from a structural point of view, Trenbolone is actually very similar to Deca-Durabolin (Nandrolone Decanoate) except for a c-9 and c-11 double bond. However, these two double bonds are very important and bring many important differences to Trenbolone. The c11 double bond seems to increase Androgen Receptor binding quite profoundly, while the c9 bond primarily serves to prevent aromatization (conversion) of estrogen (but this may have something to do with the c9 bond as well). Therefore, compared to Deca, Trenbolone's lack of estrogenic activity and strong androgen receptor binding ability makes it a much stronger anabolic/androgenic substance than Deca Durabolin. What we see in Trenbolone is a drug that is roughly 4 times anabolic and about 10 times androgenic (based on the Screw Reference scale) relative to Deca. In Trenbolone, most of the weight gained using it is lean and quality muscle.

Trenbolone also has the advantage of significantly increasing the level of the hormone IGF-1 in muscle tissue. not only does it significantly increase IGF-1 levels, it also causes increased sensitivity. This is true for many steroids like testosterone and many others. However, if we compare Trenbolone with Testosterone, its binding affinity to the androgen receptor (AR) is also markedly stronger. Strong androgen receptor binding is an important factor in anabolism and fat loss.

Trenbolone Enanthate (or any Trenbolone) aids anabolism by promoting nitrogen retention and protein synthesis with the muscles and appears to interact strongly with the receptors of anti-anabolic (muscle growth inhibitor) glucocorticoid hormones. This will reduce cortisol and aid muscle growth. Due to these protein synthesizing effects it can aid your feed efficiency and mineral absorption, which produces more productive food in building new muscle tissue, making it a very effective substance in terms of nutrient division.

Since Trenbolone binds so tightly to androgen receptors and these receptors are found in muscle cells as well as lipid cells, Trenbolone appears to have a profound effect on the AR in such cells to catalyze both anabolism and lipolysis (Fat burning). Finally, Trenbolone significantly stimulates red blood cell production and also increases the rate of glycogen replenishment, both of which profoundly improve recovery.

The most common complaint with Trenbolone is that it can reduce aerobic capacity, possibly due to bronchial enlargement caused by increased prostaglandin formation. However, at least in most users, this effect is not apparent with the Enanthate version as blood levels of Trenbolone Enanthate do not rise to the top of a level as quickly or as we see with the Acetate version. That's why the infamous "Tran cough" that many users complain about with the "Acrylic" version is not common with the Enanthate ester.

Doses of Trenbolone Enanthate are generally used in the range of 200-600mg per week and as this steroid has a reasonably long ester length it only needs to be administered by intramuscular injection once or twice a week.
