DESCRIPTION

IGF-1 LR3 (Long Arg3 Insulin-Like Growth Factor-1) is a synthetic peptide analog of the naturally occurring IGF-1, modified to increase its potency and stability. IGF-1 LR3 has an extended half-life compared to regular IGF-1, enhancing its growth-promoting effects. It plays a critical role in cell proliferation, muscle growth, and recovery by mimicking the effects of insulin in promoting glucose uptake and nutrient transport.

The product is supplied as a sterile, lyophilized powder for reconstitution prior to administration.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Mechanism of Action: IGF-1 LR3 acts on insulin-like growth factor receptors, promoting anabolic processes such as muscle hypertrophy, tissue repair, and nutrient absorption. It mimics the effects of insulin in stimulating cellular glucose uptake and supports amino acid transport into cells, thus enhancing protein synthesis and growth. Due to its long half-life, IGF-1 LR3 stays active in the body for longer, providing prolonged effects on muscle growth and tissue repair.

INDICATIONS

IGF-1 LR3 is indicated for:

Muscle Growth: Enhancing muscle hypertrophy, recovery, and strength in bodybuilders, athletes, or those seeking improved muscle mass.

Tissue Repair: Promoting faster healing and recovery from injuries, surgeries, or intensive physical activity.

Muscle-Wasting Conditions: As an adjunctive treatment for conditions like sarcopenia, cachexia, or other muscle-wasting disorders.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Dosage:

• Standard Dosing: 20 mcg to 100 mcg administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly once daily, depending on individual goals and response.
• Duration of Use: Cycles typically last 4 to 6 weeks, followed by a break period to avoid receptor desensitization.

Administration:

1. Reconstitute the lyophilized powder with bacteriostatic water.
2. Inject subcutaneously into areas with more fat tissue or intramuscularly into the targeted muscle for enhanced local effect.
3. Rotate injection sites to avoid localized irritation.

Reconstitution:

• Reconstitute the vial with 1 to 2 ml of bacteriostatic water.
• Store the reconstituted solution in the refrigerator and use within 7 days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Hypersensitivity: Contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to IGF-1 LR3 or any of its components.
• Cancer: IGF-1 LR3 is contraindicated in individuals with active cancer or those with a history of malignancy, as it may promote tumor growth.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

1. Risk of Hypoglycemia: IGF-1 LR3 may lower blood glucose levels due to its insulin-like effects. Patients should monitor blood sugar levels, especially if they are diabetic or prone to hypoglycemia.

2. Long-term Use: Prolonged use of IGF-1 LR3 may result in receptor desensitization, diminishing its anabolic effects. It is recommended to cycle the use of the product.

3. Potential for Tumor Growth: IGF-1 promotes cell growth and may exacerbate the growth of pre-existing tumors. Patients with a history of cancer should avoid its use.

ADVERSE REACTIONS

Common side effects:

• Localized pain, swelling, or redness at the injection site
• Mild hypoglycemia (dizziness, weakness, sweating)
• Temporary fatigue or headache

Serious adverse effects:

• Hypoglycemia: Prolonged or severe hypoglycemia may occur in some individuals. Monitor blood sugar and adjust food intake as needed.

INTERACTIONS

• Insulin: Combining IGF-1 LR3 with insulin may potentiate the risk of hypoglycemia. Use with caution in diabetic patients.
• Anabolic Steroids: Combining IGF-1 LR3 with anabolic steroids may enhance muscle growth effects, but also increases the risk of adverse effects like organ enlargement.

USE IN SPECIFIC POPULATIONS

Pregnancy and Lactation: IGF-1 LR3 has not been studied in pregnant or lactating women. Its use is not recommended during these periods.

Pediatric Use: This product is not intended for use in children or adolescents under 18 years of age due to the potential for adverse effects on growth and development.

Geriatric Use: Older adults may benefit from IGF-1 LR3 in terms of muscle maintenance, but dosing should be carefully monitored to avoid excessive organ or tissue growth.

OVERDOSAGE

Overdosing on IGF-1 LR3 may result in severe hypoglycemia, abnormal tissue growth, or organ enlargement. In case of overdose, discontinue use and seek medical attention.

STORAGE

• Store the lyophilized powder at room temperature (20°C to 25°C / 68°F to 77°F).
• After reconstitution, store the solution in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F) and use within 7 days.
• Protect from light and do not freeze.
• Keep out of reach of children.
